I got what I thought was a farm all the guy that I got it from said it was also.I only wanted it for yard decoration but upon looking at it all signs say its AC. I can"t find the ID plate and the only #s I can see well are the engine casting #s AM 2916 27. Don"t know if this will halp but maybe someone here will so the next time someone asks (what"s that?) I hope I can tell them. Thanks,Roy

the model C was built from 1940 ti abou t1950. the serial number is by the trans shift lever stamped into the case. the Model B and CA also look similar. serial number starts with letter.

thanks, Steve my jd has a tag on engine for id this ac has many parts on it i put at the end of my drive-way to let vines and flowers grow around it for rustic feel.some people might not like tractors left like this but it has set in back of a shop for many years and crank case is full of water so i couldn't think of any thing else to do with it.
