I have a 1950 WD and I noticed that the muffler was coming loose.I looked for a way to tighten it but found none.It appears to be just stuck in the exhaust manifold. Is this the way they are or am I missing something? The old muffler bottom is worn and is starting to crack which I suspect is causing it to be loose.Do I just get a new muffler and stick it in?Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.

yep i have a 1949 WD allis chalmers and there is a one half inch bolt hole in the manifold. and on a new muffler is a bolt hole in the tube, just set muffler in manifold install a short bolt to hold it in place. hope it works for you.
