I timed my WD-45, but I timed it on the wrong cylender I timed it on #2 cylender. The reason why I timed it was that anytime the throttle was opened past 1/4 throttle the tractor would redline. And it still does it. I would like to know if this would happen because it was timed on the wrong cylender.

Timing should not cause an engine to over rev. Sounds more like you have linkage thats in a bind or the govanor is bad. Or maybe what happened to me not long ago on a C. The govanor rod came off the carb and then the carb open up all the way and it started to over rev.
