How do you hook up a one bottom plow???

I have a one bottom plow for my 39 allis B. I have all the parts (I think), but i can't figure out for the life of me how to hook it up. Does anybody have a picture or diagrams. If you do I would really appreciate any help you could give me. I want to get planting and I'm running out of time.

Hi,

Assuming it's the hand lift version of an actual AC plow and not an aftermarket WIARD B plow, you can see a diagram here. If it's the aftermarket plow for a B marketed by WIARD Plow Co., like mine, I have pictures I can link you to. But those seem to be rare as far as I can tell.

Rod, My moldboard says wiard, but it says AC PU on the plow. I don't know if that lets you know what type it is, but could i see the links to the wiard?

It may be that WIARD produced some plow parts for AC that used the standard AC mounting. But they also made their own plows and mounts for the B. They are very different from the standard AC mounts. There is no rock shaft behind the seat as with the AC style, for one thing. You can see my B WIARDS here, along with the mounting pieces. That should be enough for you to determine whether you have the AC style or not. If you have the WIARD style mounting, I probably can help you out in hooking the parts up.

sorry, don't have a picture handy. you should have a rockshaft with 2 brackets that mounts behind seat. the plow is lifted by this. you also have 2 levers. 1 is short with a pin on the lower end. this handle mounts around the square tube that your feet rest on, on the right of the throttle, close to the throttle. the long lever mounts on the same tube, but close to the fender. it should have a bar the runs to the rear of the tractor and connects to the rockshaft. that completes the lift system. you should have 2 brackets and a drawbar left. the brackets, either with a pin and a bolt hole or 2 holes that uses a bar and pin combo as on the rear drawbar, mount to the front of the final drives and the drawerbar attaches to it. the plow then attaches to the drawbar. there is a short bar on the drawbar and attaches to another short bar that connects to the lever by the throttle. this is your depth control. that should be complete. good luck.
