Hi iam from the UK i am currently restoring an Allis Model B upon seeing some pictures of an orchard converstion i rather liked it and now want to convert mind as it will be unusual which i like can anyone e-mail me some pictures of one detailing rear wing moutings etc brake linkages and anything else that might be different

an IB or OB conversion out of a regular B is a good size job. I can give you some info and photos if you want. I have a IB industrial unit and i used it as an example to build the OB from a B. You can rotate the rear axle housings 90 degrees and thats a start. You need to remove the horseshoe front axle and "build" another straight axle about 2 inches thick and 2.65 inches high.--- for the rear end, you can use the normal B fenders or go with WD45 fenders like the IB uses. either way, you are building your own mounts.--- samae for the brake rods. now the lever points out the back instead of up the top, so you have to bend 1/2 inch rods in a half moon shape with C on each end to connect the pedals to the brake levers. You also need to decide if you are installing a pan seat, or a beench seat. either way, you need to "make" brackets, etc, etc. I can give you some photos to get you started, but its a lot of looking, thinking, planning and "modifying" to get things to fit, and also look correct.
