I"m getting ready to re-install the crank on an 1948 N62 Continental. Along with the Main bearings I have two brass washers that go on the front bearings. On the forward side of the front webbing I find three very short pins in the block that hold one of the washers in place. where does the other identical brass washer go. I think it may on the inside (rear side of the front bearing)of the bearing I"m just not sure and the manual does not explain. Thanks for any insite you may be able to share..

The end clearance should be .003" to .007"
