I have a 47 AC Model C. I was curious to see if anyone knows if there is a tiller that will nicley hook up to this tractor and run off of its PTO. If there is what kind of tiller and where can i find one. Thanks.

I don't believe there are any that will work well on it because 1st gear is just plain and simple to fast for a tiller to work well on it. What you need is a plow and disc to do much with one.

Lots of three point tillers on the market. In the specs they'll state how much pony power you need to run it. You will need a three point hitch on your tractor. Does your tractor have hydraulics? You will need it for the lift. And it can't be a hydraulic system that runs off the PTO. You need the PTO for the tiller. Lots of folks will tell you that the low gear in the C is too fast for the tiller and it might be. Here's a thought I have on that. If you run the tiller with the tractor in neutral, get it up to speed, and then lower, (do not drop!) the tiller into the ground, will the tiller propel the tractor forward? I don't know if it would work but in theory it should. I'm not going to spend any time or money trying to find out but I really think it will work, especially if ground is level. In fact, you might have to use the brakes!
