Want to replace radiator cap on my 1945 C but the existing cap doesn't show what pressure rating. Are these pressure caps?

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron,

Early Bs and Cs used atmospheric cooling systems with vented radiator caps. In late 1942 they were changed to pressurized systems. According to the B/C parts manual, Cs with tractor serial #C-18580 and up (late '42 and up) used a pressurized system. If your 1945 is all original, it should have a pressurized system that used a 7 psig cap, per the B/C service manual.

Thanks Rod,
Well since my C's serial number is 31085 guess I'll get a 7psig cap.
