Ok guys I have a 1938 Allis B that is missing the Well Vent. Screws in right behind the Venturi.
I called Sandy Lake parts and they tell me there were 3 differnt sizes for the zenith carbs. Well my tag on my carb is completly wore off!!!!! !! My carb has the adjust able main jet if this helps.
The well vent has a very small screw thread. They made a 26,25,16. the 16 is still available for $7.23
now I would buy that but are well vents sized smaller by the smaller number? Or are they like wire the smaller the number the biger the wire?
is there anyway To know what I need? I have a zenith on a Farmall "A" I pulled the well vent on that and the number is 22 and it is lots bigger then the hole on the Allis B carb.
what info do can you guys offer for me?
well I went out and found that the threads where the well vent screw in are a #4-44 or 4-40 thread so very small does this help you guys?
is the number on the well vent the same as a # size drill bit? that would help if it is!

Well the local parts house will have it tomorrow for me so I will know then if it fits. $7.23 I guess I can not complain.
