This tractor is selling at auction this am. Front wheel assist. 3279 hrs. 20 miles from home. I know nothing about this brand of tractor but this is red and green area so anything else usually goes cheep. Please respond in 30 minutes thanks. how many horsepower, how reliable, good or bad reputation, week points?

i know some people get along with them ok but i wouldnt touch one. all the ones we sold had problems engine power shift clutch shifting. the 9600s were better

The 9170 is a good tractor. There is nothing that comes to mind with it being bad or having problems. The horsepower is around 172 give or take a little.
