Finally decided to ship my B equipment, gonna put it all in next weeks consignment auction. Lots of memories on "finding" it and discussing it with my Dad, since passed on.

Cultivator from Howell MI. Found in local paper.
Mounted sickle mower form Leslie, MI, off a tractor I swapped to one of my best friends (he still uses it). Spotted alongside of the road one day.
Mounted plow complete with front drawbar, that I was going to put on a B I no longer own. Manual lift handle for plow since the tractor didn't have hydraulics.
WC spring ride seat converted for B, from a parts tractor converted to a Wisconsin engine (I saved only the final drives).
Belt/PTO unit with pump opening, for the tractor without that I'm selling without.

Lots of J-yard hours, and hauling miles leaving home. But the best is that I still have Dad's B and the memories of how we would discuss the care and use of each piece of equipment.

I just have to remember it's just iron....

Your last statement is spot on.

This stuff is just iron. The really nice thing you are doing is not cutting it up and it will make the opportunity for new memories now as it goes into new hands.

I can use some of your stuff, I'll watch the auction next week. I have a bunch of B's that I'm restoring and would like some stuff for them.

Beautiful Berville MI! I've bought way too much stuff there, time to return some.

Went the first year I moved out here, ben back every year since. Of course, it's only 2 miles home so it's not a big challenge to drag home "stuff"... just surviving the skillit (to paraphrase Shep).
