i found a 220 or 210 in canada,it says 220 on it but the serial numbers are those of a 210, is there much difference? looks good, real straight. some minor things, like paint would make it look sharp, new cab door, etc. has a recent rebuild, new starter, ignition switch. hyd pump , tubo. no oil leaks. what's the deal on these tractors, are they any good, what are the problems with them, etc. any info, please . thanks oly

Hi,

I have a friend that has a 220 and needs a oil dipstick. All she needs to know is the length of it. I don't know if the 210 is the same as the 220. If it wouldn't be too much trouble could you tell me how long the one in your tractor is.

Thanks, Lorraine

From what I've read on them, They are essentially the same tractor. The 210 had smaller tires, a little different sheet metal, and the fuel pump was turned down. When they started selling 210's, 220 orders took a nosedive. To have a 220, all a person needed to do was turn up the pump. According to Norm Swinford's book on A-C, very few 210's and 220's were built with cabs. Hope this helps, Brian
