What's a D17 Series 1 worth?

Gotta make the sacrifice - down sizing and moving - gotta let my D17 NF go. Anyone got an idea of what I should ask for it? The tires and radiator are both 4 years old. It has the front loader with the maure bucket.
It's a series 1 with a gasoline engine and it's never jumped out of gear on me - yet!
I feel like I'm selling my best friend or something - I'm gonna miss that girl!

It is really hard to make a guess with out being able to see and crawl around and on a tractor, and the location can certainly make a difference also. That said, in MO, tractors that I think are in simular condition will usually bring $2000 to $2500. A wide front will often at $500 over a narrow front. Sometimes extra good tires will cause a tractor to bring a couple hundred dollars more. A good trip bucket loader will usually bring between $100 and $200 dollars when sold seperatly. On a tractor, sometimes that loader will add $200 or $300 to the selling price and sometime is won`t hardly add a thing. Also of course at aucttions you sometimes see things go for extra high prices for no visable reason except that 2 or more people really want it. I do feel that auction prices are the best representation of true value. A local JD dealer had a rough D-14 on his lot here while back, and out of curiosity I ask what they wanted for it. $4200 and it jumps out of gear I was told! Were they crazy or just hoping to find a sucker? It sat around for a couple months and then disappeared. I ask one of the employees if they sold the tractor and he said yes, they shipped it off a couple hundred miles to a consignment auction. He didn't know what it brought but I am willing to bet it was about $3000 less than they as for it while it sat on their lot. Asking price and sale price just don`t always have much to do with one another.

Thanks for the info! Sounds about like what I'd figured but I just HAD to check! I paid $2300 for her 6 years ago so I don't think I'll loose anything - especially considering all the work she's done here!
