I am not real familiar with AGCO Allis tractors. There is an auction coming up with a AGCO 9650 mfd and 3500 hours on it. Can anybody tell me anything about these tractors, good or bad. I have a White 6145 that looks like the same tractor but is the motor different? Thanks for all information.

9650 has the Detriot, your 6145 has the Cummins, Deutz was no longer used by AGCO

the 9650s we had were deutz engines they may have switched after i left. i know that was the plan with agco. that was a nice trans they had and was the best shifting on the market at the time

the 9650 had a smaller deutz engine they were an ok tractor the white used the 40 series detroit. the ones i drove didnt have enough power to go down the road at hi idle but they go quite fast about 25 mph if i rember right

the farm I worked at has one.. never had a single problem with it that I know of. and very fun and easy to drive.. I would say they are pretty nice tractors.. just my .02 worth
