I have a 1952 WD. Will a Wd45 carburetor rebuild kit match up to my tractors carburetor?

If your carb is a Marvel/Schebler, it should have a tag riveted up at the mounting flange. Should say:
TSX-xxx with a three digit number. This is the I.D. number of the carburetor. Using this number you can purchase a carb kit or parts. We have plenty of carb kits in stock for AC machines. Drop us a line with your number. We can probably help you out. If it's a Zenith, it should have a little disc riveted to the float bowl area with two sets of numbers on it. Outside number is the AC number, the inside number is the Zenith number. Again, either number on the disc can get you a kit or parts...HTH

If your WD has an original Marvel-Schebler carburetor it is model TSX-159 which has a slightly smaller body than the WD-45's M/S TSX-464.

That 159 number sounds familiar to me- I think one or two of mine have that carb, others are Zenith. I have 4 WD tractors in my collection, only one WD45. Would assume that the larger carb bodies and bigger jets were required to feed more gas to the later models, since the little Zeniths went back to the WC, C, B, etc.?

Rebuilt mine 3yrs ago, farm and tractor supply could not match up my carb, had to go to a supplier that specialized in AC's. Carefull with the float worked on mine outside in summer and the float got too hot after replacing every thing and turning on gas flow it crushed like pop can.

Standard carb on the WD45 was a Marvel-Schebler TX464 series. Most WDs came with a smaller carb made by Zenith. Name will be cast into the body of either carb, look for a metal tag on the carb with a number on it for ID.

It doesn't really matter what model the tractor is, just as long as you find the carburetor kit for your model of carburetor.
