Hyd Pump problems

I have a 185 that I just split and put back together. Got the pump primed (took a lot to get the air out and going) and everything works like it should. I let the tractor sit for 6 hours (or overnight) and then the power steering won't work. It acts like the pump has lost prime. What could cause the pump to lose prime so easily. I can usually get it going in a couple of minutes of cranking the wheel but something is not right. Any ideas, relief valves? Maybe still got air in the system.
