I have a 39 wc with bad brake linings on the hand brakes. I'm having a hard time locating the linings or the brake band itself. All catalogs that I've seen go from B IB,C,CA,WD,WD45,D17 and so on. Would the linings on the C be the same size as the WC, would they need to be modified from something else, or would anyone know where to get them for a WC itself?

I bought new brake lining material from McMaster Car to put on the linings of an old C. It worked just fine.

My local Agco dealer had 3 sets (1 set required per side) in stock for $42.00 a set. This included the rivets.

I ordered a used set of bands for my D17 off of Sandy lake over on Allis Chalmers.com they were $70 dollars for both sides and 2 bands had good linings. Mine were bent on the left side for some reason. Jim

Hey, I didn't know that.. I'll have to check on that also.. It would be a lot cheaper than looking for an original.....

Thanks a bunch..

I wasn't sure on the linings. What you guys sent back to me was kind of what I thought. I'll look into both ways of relining the brakes..

Thanks for the info, guys.... I appreciate it.

When I was fixing up my WC Speed Patrol I checked into getting new ones since one band on it is broken. The local AGCO said he could get them but when he told me they would cost $100 each I figured I didn't need them that bad. I have one brake that works and since it has the belly blade I figured that would be good enough

You won't see linings for sale, they are different from all the rest. I removed mine and had a brake re-lineing company do mine or you can contact Tony & Barb @ Tony Carbaugh Enterprises, LLC they have exchange linings avail
