I just purchased a CA Allis. It doesn't run yet, but I'm tryin. It needs re-wiring. There's some kind of speaker wire from the coil to the battery, etc. Can someone point me to a site where I can get one faster than waiting of a manual to be sent?? THanks for your help!!

If it's original 6 volt, it is positive ground. I do know that much.

send me an e-mail and i will send you a drawing of a generic 1940-50 Allis 6 volt system. they were all basically the same, CA has a distributor where earlier models had a magnito, but all else was the same. [email protected]

Steve, thanks for all your help. It took only a few minutes to run a couple wires and she's cranking now. If only the nickel-sized hole in the manifold were as easy...Thanks again.
