I have my great uncle's tractor. He bought it new, and it has been in our family the whole time. My Dad used it for his gardening. I have so many memories of this tractor, both good and bad!

My folks have passed on, and my brothers and sister have no interst in our tractor. Unfortunatly, I do not have the time to give it the attention it deserves, to restore it back to it's original condition, so it can stand proud in all it's orange glory.

I can give any information about this tractor, it's present condition, what's been done to it, etc.

I would like to find someone that is an AC enthusiest that would do the right thing for this old tractor, not just trash it. I'm hoping someone here can stear me in the right direction for that person. I live in Virginia. Thanks.

Here's another option for you and that is to "refurbish" it, not restore it. Assuming that it is a reasonably decent original without any missing tin, the tin is straight, and all the parts are there. Maybe replace the tires and replace or repair the rear rims if they were corroded by Calcium solution. Rework the carb, generator and starter, maybe buy a new wiring harness. Check the manifold and maybe replace it, and a new muffler, etc. Make sure the lights are working (if it had lights). Then you've got something that has the original memories attatched to it and intact. Just my two cents, but there's nothing like a nice, original family piece of farm equipment.
