is there something special, or will dish soap like dawn work? also still looking for torque numbers for rod bolts, main bolts, and piston pins. thanks.

Hi, I have used red hi-temp silicone on my allis WD... it serves as a lubricant and a sealer

The torque for the clamp bolt is 25 Ft. Lbs.
When you are torquing the clamp bolt, you should clamp a good sized tapered punch in a vise and set the pin on the punch to hold it while tightening the bolt. This will keep the rod from twisting which can happen if you have the rod clamped in the vise when you are tightening the bolt. Good luck.

Rosco, it was suggested to me to use Canola Oil. I've used it on 3 tractors with excellent success.

Rod bearings are 70# if they are castallated. 40# if they are self locking. Main bearings are 85#. I couldn't find anything on the pin bolt.
