i just bought this at a auction. i was told it was a 1928. it looks simalar to a monarch 75 with the exception that it has allis chalmers on the radiator. what i would like to know is if anybody has ever heard of one of these and where i can get a manual for it. i have tried many sites and i can get no information on this unit. any info would be very much appr.

I have one that I am restoring now. You can find a manual on ebay if you watch for a while. If that dont work I could get you a copy of mine. Monarch had this tractor almost ready for production when Allis bought them in I think 1929. Allis cast their name in the radiator and produced the tractor. After a couple of years they replaced the stearing wheel with clutch levers made a few other changes and sold it as the model K.

C. H. Wendell's book, The Allis Chalmers Story has a pretty good description of the Monarch and early Allis crawlers. As far as manuals go, have you tried the unofficial Allis web page? These guys live and breathe orange.
