200 has 2 speed pto, there is a coupler under the 2 speed clutch pack for the transmisson, i split the tractor repaired the 2 speed clutch pack and slid tractor back together and now have no pto, i found the coupler was pushed foward, i moved the coupler back and conected the pto shafts now i have a pto, what keeps the coupler in place so that it won't slid off the back shaft again? There is no snap ring nor groove on the shafts and no center pin in the coupler, something is wrong and i need to know what is is, thanks

I don't much about the 200, I was just of thinking of a way to keep the coupler in position without splitting the tractor again. Would it be possible to slip a couple of hose clamps on the shaft in front and in back of the coupler, that wouldn't interfere with anything else. Maybe a bad idea if the clamp ever came loose. I am wondering if you put the coupler in backwards? Was there any evidence that it fit only one way correctly? Just a thought. Only other thing I could think of is if it had a ridge inside the coupler that kept it from sliding too far down one shaft that got messed up. If you are near a dealer or know one, have them print you out a parts diagram and see what is in there that might hold it on. Good luck
