I can't find a decent price on 13.6-26 tires. I have restored my d-14 but I don't like the old 14.9's on it. I have two 13.9 but they have bulges on the side. Any you guy's know how to boot a bulg? Thanks

Just curious- what don't you like about the 14.9-26 tires? Should be standard size. Old size 13-26. If you go down to a 13.6, you lose traction and ground speed with the undersize tire. I remember when the D14 came out in '57, and I thought AC was nuts to come out with a tractor about the power of a WD45 (It came out before the D17) and put smaller tires on it. Every farmer knew that you need tire diameter to pull the load. Small rear tires were always the downfall with AC, and to maintain hp and decrease tire diameter was stupid.

used to be able to call Don at Gemplers and he would advise you on patches and how to prep for patch.
Link

clean with tube cleaner
scuff the tire up with wire brush
apply sidewall patch
