Other things to concider are any implements that may go with..Does the tractor have a loader on it??Oil pressure, does it run ok otherwise..does it have power steering?, duals, wheel weights,, The tractor may be worth more to one person for parts or accesories than it is worth to anouther as a fixer-upper..You have a very open book question with alot of blank spaces, but several posts on this forum have given you a good idea what to be expecting as for a price..

A good working one with a good transmission will cost you between $1500 and $1800, so that makes this one worth around $500 to $800. But don`t think you can fix it for $1000.

I'd say $500 to $1000 depending on tires, sheet metal and engine. It's huge to fix the tranny. Hydraulics might not be too bad. New owner would need to do work himself. If he can't, it is cheaper to buy one that is good throughout.

Check discussion a few days ago about price/condition. What you describe is not decent condition if the hydraulics don't work and it jumps ou of gear. Necessary split and parts really lower its worth, maybe a grand or so.
