picked up a b, the motor was in boxes most pieces gone. Looking for a parts tractor with a running motor or a good rebuild, in new york area.

Thanks to all for your help. I went thru parts today, I am missing tappets, 1 pushrod, 1 main bearing cap (front)and most bolts and carb, again thanks for the replies

How does the block look, and do you have the main caps. If the Answer is yes; you have a good start..The rest of the pieces are not hard to come by, and can easily be shipped UPS with no problem..You may want to take an inventory of what you are missing to get the motor reassembled. Guys like Old and myself usually can come up with what you are lacking..

Same engine that was used as a power unit for choppers, balers, combines, amusement park rides, gravel conveyors, etc.

Your to far away. I have an engine I pulled out of my C that runs good but needs a differant sleeve in the #2 hole. The sleeve had been plained so it sits to low for the head gasket to seal it like it should.
