Can anyone tell me what the approxomate h.p. ratings are for the WC, the WD and the WD45? I like the looks of these tractors but am looking for a particular size. I prefer foot clutch and brakes and 3 point. Any help would be appreciated.

Actually I differ with Aaron. I've had alot of WDs apart over the years and only one had a 45 crank in it. So don't get your hopes up by thinking you'll get one with the 45 crank. Also I can tell right away when I drive a 45 vs a WD. The 45 will have an absolute, unmistakenable snap to it. At least to me it is unmistakenable. BTW once you get used to the hand clutch you'll love it as you can slip it all the time without damage and it saves on the foot clutch which is dry.

If you need foot brakes and a 3 pt hitch, then you need to stay with the WD or WD45. A 3 pt hitch can be added to those for around $350 or less. The HP numbers below are correct with one caviat. A lot of WD's had WD45 cranks put in them at some point in their lives and are turning close to WD45 HP numbers. Short version is, you will most likely never know the power difference between the 2.

WC=30HP, WD=34HP and WD45=43HP. Most of them do not have 3 points but they are easy to have a 3 point added to them. I have a WD45 for sale right now that has 3 point on it
