Oops, sorry I thought they were selling it for$ 1200 I guess you were saying tires were 1200 anyway make sure torque limiter is ok other than that should be ok. She's a nasty brute even though the engine is somewhat small in comparison but she's mighty same engine as the XT190 and 200 but with an intercooler. I've sent a few IH 1086's and 4440JDs home in demos with that girl pulling an IH variwidth out to 5-20's with 18-4X38 tires weighted and loaded. With no screw adjustment which could be an option.CT

RNorthup I hate to be picky but I believe the 7030 had 426ci engine the 7020 has I know for a fact a 301 intercooled engine but very strong. The no remotes is an issue what type transmission? I didn't read the ad PD or PS The 20spd PD's had torque limiter problems early on. Stadium lights are a plus slipping torque limiters require a split job. I'm guessing since a dealer has them they know what's wrong and require splits or majors. Usually if it's too good to be true it is. I know ACs generally bring low prices but that is ridiculous for a black belly tractor especially the 7020 one of their hottest selling tractors competing with the IH1086 and the 4440JD. You'd be hard pressed to buy a good WD45 for $1200.

I have a 1979 with 2200 hrs and it is a very nice tractor. I have completely reconditiooned mine and it is very strong and dependable. Engine is essentially a 7030 engine that was redesignated for the 7020 and it was very easy starting and high torque. You can see pictures of mine at www.northupgoats .com

7020 had the 301, 7030 had the 426. 426 is somewhat known for putting windows in the block when rod bolts let go. 301 is very near bullet proof. Money might be a little high, but you can negotiate by pointing to the rubber.

Did you notice it says NO REMOTES. Wouldn't be very handy without remotes.

I beleive the no remotes, is a bad abbr for number remotes . The tractor has 2 remotes. I had to do a double take on that as well.

Nice tractor I'm assuming 20spd power director 426 intercooled 161 pto hp dual speed pto stadium lights good 4 battery start option. Again, check torque limiter and make sure crankshaft isn't broken with a pry bar. I also need to caution anyone to make sure side panel seals to the radiator on 7000 series tractors is good or radiator will plugup with trash. CT
