MY AC B was running bad, so i put points and cond.,wires, timed carb adj. in it. runs good at low to half throttle ,then will pop when you rev it up. if you put it in 3rd gear for the road it'll pop and hit and pop until i get the clutch out all the way and throttle it back down to half throttle. i've did everything else to make it run good and it does sitting there idling. thanx gary

if none of those ideas pan out, you might take the mag back off and see if the center shaft wobbles sideways. worn bushing will cause timing to be off and cause problems at high speed. check with timeing light-- possibly?

I think you need to replace the spark plugs. If that doesn't cure it, there must be a weak or broken intake valve spring.

Does your carb have an adjustable main jet or is it like my C and you can't adjust the main jet. If its like my C then you still have a clog on that area of the carb. BTDT and my C will do that off and on till I spray out the main jet with carb cleaner then its just fine for days
