I"m going to be painting my AC subsoiler and was going to try the Valspar AC Orange and mix in some hardner. Just wondering if anyone has tried this brand before and if you were satisfied with the color match when compared to the original. Thanks.

Bryan

Bryan,

I'm not sure what year of machine you are painting. I do know this, upto about 1960 the color was Persian Orange #1 followed by #2 and #3. I'm not sure what year they went Allis Orange. I will say this the Allis Orange is quite abit "redder" in color than the Persians. As for Valspar paints they are of good quality. I have used many products from them and they have worked out great! Good luck on you project.

The subsoiler is a No.4, I'd have to check to see the manufacture dates. The Valspar version did look more "red" than what I expected.
