I just sold my Allis Chalmers Model C. I'm thinking of a CA or WD 45. Looking for something larger than a C, with a little more power for attatchments, etc. Any suggestions?? Thanks

Really depends on what you want it to do. The WD series reacts real well to power steering. We have 3 45"s

One with CharLynn power steering and a wide front and it is the most nimble tractor we have on the farm. Should add the tires are not loaded.

Another one we have has a Arts-Way mower, same PS, and the hood is shaved ie no Exhaust or intake. Real sound D17 engine. Actually that one is going to be for sale before spring. Not much trimming needed but the narrow front digs when turned tight.

Third has factory ps and will get a single front and LP kit when time finally allows.

Not had much experience with CA"s but would bet they would be more nimble. CA is a lot harder to find than a 45 though.

WD or WD 45 both are good ones. The WD is around 34HP and the WD45 is around 43HP. I have one of each right now I need to sell
