My brother bought another B today and wanted me to go with him to pick it up. It has the most unusual lift I"ve ever seen on a B. It has the adjustable front axle instead of the wishbone, not to rare, but it has 2 hy cyl for the lift. It has one for the front cultivators and another for the rear lift which has snap coupler type arms. The lift control has a horizonal slot in the quadrant and if you tilt the handle to the left it raises/lowers the front hyd cyl and if tilted to the right it raises/lowers the rear. The cultivators are 3 seperate pieces, a left front, a right front and a rear tool bar. Maybe this isn"t as rare as it seems to me, but I have never seen one like it and I"m sure it is origional. Anyone seen another like it? Later, Nat

Nat, I am located east of you in Haw River. This borders the east side of Burlington. Not too far away! Phil.

MID 50'S ALLIS INTRODUCED A SNAP COUPLER OPTION FOR THE B. DERIVED FROM THE CA, IT USED THE 2 CLYINDERS AND ROCKSHAFT. THEY REVERSED THE STD DRAWBAR AND MOUNTED IN FRONT OF THE FINAL DRIVES. THE SNAP COUPLER WAS MOUNTED TO THIS. THE CULTIVATORS WERE ALSO BASED ON THE CA STYLE.
THIS ARRANGEMENT ALLOWED THE USE OF NEWER SNAP COUPLER IMPLEMENTS ON THE B. BOB
