hello to all the AC people out here.
i'm looking for any info on HD6 crawlers. my grandpa bought one new in 1956 or there abouts and we still own it but i'm just wanting to know some specs. of it. i do know it has a 4 cyl. Buda energycell diesel engine. any info is appreciated.

HI The hd6 4cylinder has 344 BUDA motor 5.6L. and the master cluch and stering cluch are dry

The HD6 had a 4 7/16x5 9/16 bore. 344 cubic inches. There was the HD-6A which came with a 44 inch tread and the HD-6B with a 60 inch tread width. If you found a serial number for us, we could tell you the exact year it was made.

Serial number on back casting above drawbar. If you have a rear weight you may be covering it....
