I'm looking at putting a 4cyl diesel engine into my jeep and i was set in my ways on a cummins 4bta, however i have a chance at picking up an AC 433I out of an aircraft tow tractor. The problem is that I can't find any specs on this engine. Do yall have a place i can look or know off the top of your heads? The tractor is an American Coleman MB-4 if that helps. Thanx.

Stephen

Same engine as used in the 6080 AC tractor. 200 cid, turbo, intercooled. 85 to 100 HP. Make sure it has the front crankshaft retaining bearing. AC in it's infinate wisdom only used half of a thrust bearing and had problems wearing into the crankshaft bearing face.

They were used in the 6060, 6070, and 6080 tractors and I think some F2s. Could put out around 85 PTO hp stock on the 6080 which was the 433I. This engine is an intercooled, turbocharged, 200 cubic inch diesel. That is about all I can tell you. There is a guy on the unofficial allis chalmers forum that has put one in an older chevy. This name is Sam T. Good luck
