I need Rod and Main bearing shims for a b engine anyone know where to get them.

I've rebuilt about a dozen tractor engines. I've always just made the shims from shim stock. When making the shims, they can be U shaped so they can be slid in with the cap in place. The ends of the U must not be so long that they will extend into the the bearing.

you can buy shim stock at most auto parts stores I called my local agco dealer and asked the parts guy to order mine and he said " some old timers just use an old beer can for shim stock ---have a great day" and then hung up the phone!!! soooo thats what I did on mine, been running like that for about 8 months and has aprox 25 hours on the engine now with no problems whatsoever
