Hello,

I am looking at buying an AC 7080. Of course it has the 1000 RPM PTO and all my hay equipment has the 540 RPM. Does anyone know if there is an adapter kit or just an idea on how I can make this work out.

A PTO assembly out of a 7060 that is dual speed will fit in a 7080 from what I heard, maybe even the PTO assemblies from the smaller 7000 series will work too. I am not sure if there were any changes for added horse power on the bigger tractors for the 2 spd, I think that was mostly in the clutch pack with the number of clutch plates used to engage the PTO.

all tractors over 160 h.p have only 1000 rpm and 1 7/8 size 20 splines shaft.
