Hi all, having some trouble telling for sure if i have wd or wd45. i have the bent shift lever like a 45 but have been told some wd's had that. my serial number is wd144462 which i can not seem to cross to a wd45. can anyone help me out here?

the engine has the plate on the side and all i can find it adds up to a WD.

Curved shifter started in '52 at #127008. Distributor in '53 at #136318, and the last WD was in '53 at #146606. Definately a late WD.

one other question, whats the bore and stroke of each of these? by the way, i have flat top pistons and a flat head.

Does the engine have a bolt on plate on the right side or is it solid on that side. If it has a bolt on plate then its a WD engine if it doesn't have that plate then its a WD45 engine
