what is a very nice restored wd 45 diesel worth any ideas will be greatly received

Again, refering to my parts book, (Deutz Allis) the change was at serial no 127007. It lists all tractors after that, diesel or gas as using the same ring gear, before that a different one. The diesel didn't come out untill well after that no. The no. for the pinion changes at the same serial no. too, so the change happened when the transmission changed from sliding gear to constant mesh at serial no. 127007. So as I said, diesel and gas use the same parts. Early tractors used different parts.

A good running, usable WD45 gas tractor will usually bring just a tad under $2000. There are thousands and thousands of them around. A fully restored WD45 gas tractor will bring what ever someone is willing to pay for it, but that us generally $4000 or less. A WD45 diesel tractor is pretty rare and unrestored ones will typically bring close to $2000 in even rough condition. A running and usable one is more likely to be in the $4000 price range, and then a fully restored one will fetch quite a lot more, but could be $5000 or $15000 depending on how bad people want that particular one.

yea i was at a sale sat have been wanting one for a while there sat one but my friend wanted it to i told him it was worth 8 to 10 aumanns sold 1 a couple years a go for 14. so i let him get it for 5000 nice guy arnt i i thought he stool it

About twice what a gas WD45 is worth. Reason is they didn't make near as many diesels as they did gas

I saw one at a local show a few months ago. He was asking $8,000.00. It sold in one day.
