I'm in the process of purchasing a 615 Industrial Backhoe. It has rebuilt injectors (less than 4 hrs), but 1 cylinder sounds like it has piston slap. Any info would be helpful, including the feasibility of adding a PTO to the tractor.

I have an AC 615 loader hoe, you must be the only other person in the world that has the other one. As far as I know there is no way to add a pto. If you need other hyd. attachments you may tap into the hyd. system to run them. Does the engine miss? do you have water in oil or vise-versa. Try loosing the injector connector so that it leaks a little, be careful, and see if the slap goes away. I must say that my machine has been ridden hard and put up wet alot. The only time I have had problems is by letting the fluid levels get low or brought the problems on myself. GREAT MACHINE. If you consider selling it, let me know.

I have the third 615. And I am in need of a part for it. I am looking for a right side drive axle pinion shaft or the complete right side unit. If any of you know where to find this part please contact me! 1-219-453-3802 Contact Larry
