I found a allis chalmers tractor and I can not identify what model .It is smaller in overall size than a B,it has a wide front end , no PTO, it has frame rails like a WD, hand and foot throttle. Could it be a industial model B or mabe a D-10???

IBs can be worth a lot more than standard Bs. There was not many made, they are somewhat rare. It may be worth a little more than you think even with a cracked block. Most of the parts are the same as B parts with the obvious exception of the parts that make it an IB. The reduction gears were rotated 90 degrees forward to shorten and lower the tractor, the torque tube is shorter too, and the front axle is lower. Fenders are different and brake linkage is different. If the IB stuff is all there it can be restored using B parts.

If it is a IB and is complete, block is no problem tires are no problem fenders are a pain to remake. I would give a lot more than $300. I wouldn`t insult the man by offering $100. Tony

As Texas says probably $100-300 tops depending on how good the sheet metal and tires are. Now as far as the cracked block to me that would be no big deal but I also have 2 spare blocks/engines out of 2 C parts tractors I have

With a cracked block, the value would mostly be tires. If the tires are bad, $100 would be plenty. If the tires are good, it might be worth $200. An acquaintence gave me his C with a stuck engine and bad tires. I might recover my investment in restoring since I did 100% of the work myself. Most folks don't have a mill and a laythe to help them in this pursuit. If I didn't have expensive machine tools, it would have cost me more to rebuild than the tractor is worth, even looking perfect.

Sounds like a IB. Serial number is by shift lever. Tony
