Fax number is 609 333-0668. : hiya gary, if this is your first wd or wd45 then make sure you have someone show you all the fluid level checks. they are confusing to find until you get the hang of it. starting after the engine which is obvious where to check, is the hydraulic reservoir. standing on the left side of the tractor, there is a small "dipstick" that says check with all rams extended. then about a foot or so rearward there is a check plug.this is for the hand clutch housing when the plug is removed, the fluid should be at the bottom of the threads. the plug size is a half inch i think. then on to the rear end. it is a little further back on the same side and is an inch plug i believe. it checks the same way as the hand clutch housing. the hydraulics call for motor oil in the original manuals but trans/hydraulic fluid works fine. the other two checks i mentioned take 90 weight gear oil. also therer are check plugs on each final drive. look on the stamped metal pan at the bottom for a check/fill plug. on level the oil should just "ooze" out. 90 weight here too. these are often overlooked and shouldnt be. good luck and if i can ever help, feel free to yell. later, grapeape :Many thanks for your response! I was able to locate the fluid points, althought I do have one question concerning the engine. Attached to the distributor is what appear to be a governor. This has a fluid resevoir and appears that it may be fed from the engine oil system. Is this correct? If so, I assume this is to be filled to some level below the cap / if not what goes here? Also note, The fax number that I indicated is not correct. The correct number is 609 333-0669.
