I have a chance to buy a front end loader for my D-17. The only info I have is that it has one-way hydraulics and a trip bucket and is supposed to be in good shape. Anybody have a ballpark figure on what it's worth?

Absolutely no more than $250 in good condition.

$100 to $250 is where they run. They are a LOT better than no loader at all.

If the loader doesn't have down pressure and just a trip bucket, it's not worth much. Guys in my part of the country have them laying around in their bone piles that will give them to about anyone for hauling them off. I wouldn't think it would be worth no more than $100.00

In my opinion a trip bucket loader isn't worth much since you don't have down pressure and can't control the dump. I won't pay more than $2-300 for one.....just bought one less cylinders and mounts but with a good manure bucket last Sat. at auction for $15.
