I was driving to work and I seen a 1945 WC at a tractor parts supplier. I asked if it was for sale. Come to find out, there was an auction and the WC didn't sell. It has good tires, fair sheet metal and some "Handy-man wireing". Some of the "fixes" were done very poorly. I'm not sure what to offer the seller. Could you help me with this? Thank you.

$100 to $300 depending on how good the tires are.

I like the WC for tractor pulling, because they are light and all of the engines swap up to an AC 175.

Consider getting a WD45 or another newer tractor unless you really want the WC. They are not worth much unless they have something unusual qualities such as.

1. A 1933 with a flat head.
2. WC Wide front end.
3. Single wheel front end.
4. Front and rear original non cut steel
5. Any 100% restored WC in very good running and looking condition.

Check to see if the rear-end housing on this tractor is cast iron or heavy sheet metal. My little bothers father-in-law has a 1945 WC with the sheet metal rear end. They are kind of collectible. Here is something else i would suggest. I hate it when someone ask what will you offer. I do not own the item, they do. I tell people the item is not mine, it is your HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR IT.

She would have to run REALLY good to be worth more than $500 in my opinion. Now if it were restored well and parade ready, maybe $1000.

I'll give you a ball park figure. The tractor is worth some where between $600- and $800- in very good running condition in central Missouri.

If you are looking for a work tractor look at the newer Allis tractors. WCs do not have hydraulics.

I'm not sure why the WC didn't sell at auction. Even the scrap dealers and people parting out tractors would have bid on it. My guess is that the reserve was set to high.

WC parts tractors go for $100/$150- to $200- in this area. The tractor is worth about $100- at the scrap dealer.
