Anyone here ever make a bale spear for a snap coupler setup? I want to move "small" 4ft roundbales with a wd45. I was told Allis made one but I"ve never seen one.

I'm thinking it would have to mount in the snap underneath the tractor with the spear on the same shaft-then have an upside down triangle mounting in the snap couplers. Have to have some swivel point on the shaft where it attached to the triangle.

I have not used a bale spear but I did use a bale carrier a friend's dad had built. I also have a, after market, three point hitch that I used a bale carrier with. I preffer the home built snap coupler carrier to the other one. I am sure a bale spear would work but I preffer a bale carrier that gets under the bale. I was going to build a carrier for our WD but got a bigger tractor before I got around to do it.
