wd oil pressure

Got one that's really bugging me. My WD runs great and does not use a drop of oil or smoke whatsoever. BUT it takes forever after you start it for it to build up oil pressure. It builds up good pressure but after 20 min or so of running practically drops back to nothing. I could see if it smoked or used oil but it doesn't,and I realize that the pressure does drop back somewhat after it runs a while but not this much. Could this be as simple as a new oil pump or what else could I be looking for? Thanks for any ideas.

I agree with OLD.

Make sure you have the filter floss type filter.. the paper pleated ones don't work as well on the AC...

Part of it could be the type/brand of oil filter you are useing. It can also be from the type of oil you use. My self I ran stright weight oils in all my tractors because they hold better oil preassure then a muti weight oil will. Don't feel bad I had/have a WD45 engine that had no oil preassure and it didn't smoke or knock and I ran it that way for years and when I pulled it out it still ran well just not as strong as I liked and the oil preassure did bug me. So I pulled it out when I found a better engine and plus the engine I found was the correct one for what I put it in
