I posted that my Wd did not run about an hour ago or so. Yooper and Old can to my aid and my WD is running again. I went back out and cleaned by carb again. It now runs. I have a second WD that has similar problems. I try to resolve that tommorow.

Thanks guys!

Dave

About 2 weeks ago I had the same type of problem with a D-17 that we hauled in. I could get it to start but had to keep moveing the gas tank up and down, I was useing a 1 QT. gas tank from a lawn mower. It would run just fine for about 5 minutes then would start to flood out. I had cleaned the carb the day before but it still caused me problem. I then opened it up again and found that the float was leaking. Put in new float and now it runs very good. Now I just have to fix all the other stuff thats wrong with it. I'll probably get it done about this thime next year. Right now I have I think 9 Allis tractors or part of 9 of them

No problem Dave-Went through the same thing with my WD45 this spring. Float was stuck to the bottom of the carb body-one small spot of gunk-ran like heck when I opened the shutoff. Old seems to have quite a few Orange tractors around-good resource.
