I am rebuilding the carb for a H3 dozer. The lever arm lossened up on the shaft aqnd wore the shaft out. I can find rebuild kits for D-15 carbs but does anyone know if the lever is the same? If not where can I get a new shaft?

I found a shaft. Found a kit for a D-15 at my AC dealer and one for an older D-15 uses the same shaft. Not all are the same.

If you mean the throttle lever is loose if it the type that is swaged to tighten it to the shaft.These I have often fixed by using a very blunt center punch first & penning as neccessary. Then solder with acid core or flux.Rosin will not work. You will have to do this after you remove the shaft & put upright in the vise.If done right it will last for a long-long time.CENTAUR

Shaft is worn so much I don't know where the correct position is for the lever.
