Made mine out of stainless steel. Threaded on the lathe. Got a friend with a lathe?

can"t i just use grade 8 thread all? i"m not looking for originality. this is for a working/pulling tractor and all i need is something to hold the manifold on. thanks for the responses.

your local NAPA should have them they carry many types of studs. Last I checked they could get up to 1/2 studs, 5 in long. THey should have some smaller to fit wc.

I was desperate and went to my local IHCASE dealer and showed the parts man my old stud. He went back in his inventory and brought out the simliar one for an M-Farmall. They were a little long, but a grind stone solved that problem. Good luck.
