I worked over the 2 speed and have the pressures the same and eveything worked fine for 30 minets and the 2 speed would stop holding and i would reshift the 2 speed and away we would go. I shute the tractor down and next moring i had no steering no nothing and the pump and lines were starting to get hot,had plenty of oil, new filter. I haven't repaired but5 or 6 200s and never got to know them good enough to go right to the cause of troubles, nothing hydraulic works, I am not too proud to ask for help because i need all the help i can get, lonzo

Check the return line on the pump. The hose that has the 90 degree bend to the pump can cause problems if it has a crack or a leak in it and sucks air and then loses its prime. If it starts working again after priming, that is a good possibility, but there are some gaskets on the suction line also. Another thing, is it the correct fluid type? Has the filter been changed? Also, does the fluid look like it might have water in it? Thats about all I can think/know of. I don't know much about the valves and regulators in the pump. It could be that there is a valve stuck and causing the pump to work and overheat. Hopefully someone else will be able to chip in on the pump and valves. Good luck
