G engine valve guides

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REMOVE THE VALVE GUIDES ON THE ENGINE FOR SOME TIME AND CAN NOT GET THEM TO BUDGE. THE MANUAL SAYS TO USE A SUTIBLE DRIVER. CAN I PURCHASE A SPECIAL DRIVER AND WHERE? ALSO I PURCHASED A NEW VALVE TRAIN SET BUT THE SEATS HAVE BEEN GROUND OUT MANY TIMES AND THE NEW VALVES ARE TO SMALL TO SEATAND THIS BLOCK DOES NOT HAVE REPLACEABLE SEATS.CAN ANYONE OUT THERE HELP ME WITH MY PROBLEMS? THANKS ...JERRY

You didn't state if you have the engine tore down or are trying to do this work inframe.

Don't think it can be done inframe.

The drivers for guides are a piloted punch. A little bit like a roll pin punch put with a longer pin that goes in the guide instead of a ball. Available at better parts stores or tool trucks.

The seats can be replaced but this needs to be done by a machine shop. They will cut out the old ones and put in new hardened seats.

Maybe someone will have better ideas but with a valve in bloc engine a valve job means major teardown.
