when setting the velves on a WD45 you set the no.1 piston to TDC then set the two velves to 12 thousands then where do you go?

After setting number 1 turn crank 180 degrees, set #2, turn 180 degrees set #4 turn 180 derees set #3.

The way I set valve is this. I tunr the engine over till one valve on each cylinder is down and ajust the valve that is closed. That way you know for sure that the valve you ajust is closed all the way. I do that on each cylinder twice to make sure all is right. So if the intkae valve is open I ajust the exhaust and if the exhaust is open I do the intake. Takes out any guess work so you know for sure they are truely open or closed
